In September, we were pleased to present Meals on Wheels with a cheque for $8000, despite our inability to hold an in-person meeting. We are especially thankful for our dedicated members who are committed to continued difference making in CK, regardless of the circumstances. Also, a huge shout out to Meals on Wheels for hosting us at your volunteer appreciation BBQ – the food was a welcome addition!
Amidst the uncertainty of our current time, we are happy to present Adullam Camps with the $10,400 raised at our January 2020 meeting. We trust that the funds will help shape future leaders for our community.
Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel our spring 2020 meeting because of the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. We have made this decision in the best interests of the health of our members and community. Please stay safe! We hope to see you this summer!
Upon hearing presentations on behalf of three highly deserving charities, the group selected Adullam Camps as this quarter’s recipient of donations. The votes could not have been closer. We are delighted to know that Adullam will have the funding they need to build CK’s future leaders this summer. A warm thanks goes out to the members who nominated charities and to those who attended the meeting. See you next time!
We are pleased to announce that the 100+ Men of Chatham-Kent selected NeighbourLink CK as the recipient of our October donation. NeighbourLink provides a plethora of critical services to countless members of our community. Excellent work, gentlemen! Please click here for more information about NeighbourLink CK.
We are thrilled to have given a cheque in the amount of $10,500 to Chatham Hope Haven! That’s over $50,000 to local charities in just 5 hours.
If you or a guy you know wants to get involved in 100 Men Who Care CK, come out to our next meeting on October 24th at the Links of Kent!
We’re pleased to announce that Thursday’s meeting generated another big donation to a great local organization – the Mental Health Network of Chatham-Kent’s Hope House.
This marks the end of our first year of meetings for 100 Men Who Care CK. We’ve donated over $40,000 to local organizations in just four hours! Year one may be over, but we’re just getting started!
