Today, we proudly donated $9600 to the Women’s Refuge Centre. We know the funds will make a huge impact across our community and are thankful for the crucial support the Women’s Refuge Centre provides.
The Men hit a huge milestone today as well! In the past two and a half years, the members of 100 MWC CK have officially donated $100,000+ to the remarkable charities of Chatham-Kent. Well done team!

We were pleased to present the Acceptional Riders Program at TJ Stables with $8600 on Friday. It was an amazing feeling to give to a program that allows many of our kids to thrive. A huge thanks goes out to our members for stepping up big this holiday season! We look forward giving more in the coming year.

In September, we were pleased to present Meals on Wheels with a cheque for $8000, despite our inability to hold an in-person meeting. We are especially thankful for our dedicated members who are committed to continued difference making in CK, regardless of the circumstances. Also, a huge shout out to Meals on Wheels for hosting us at your volunteer appreciation BBQ – the food was a welcome addition!

Amidst the uncertainty of our current time, we are happy to present Adullam Camps with the $10,400 raised at our January 2020 meeting. We trust that the funds will help shape future leaders for our community.
Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel our spring 2020 meeting because of the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. We have made this decision in the best interests of the health of our members and community. Please stay safe! We hope to see you this summer!

Upon hearing presentations on behalf of three highly deserving charities, the group selected Adullam Camps as this quarter’s recipient of donations. The votes could not have been closer. We are delighted to know that Adullam will have the funding they need to build CK’s future leaders this summer. A warm thanks goes out to the members who nominated charities and to those who attended the meeting. See you next time!
